Let's Have Some Fun... World Cup Contest

Wednesday, July 7, 2010

With the Spain v Germany clash just finished and the World Cup in South Africa drawing to a close I'm sure most of you are feeling pretty sad that the World Cup is over, well Live Breathe Futbol is here to cheer you up!

I thought it would be cool to have a little bit of fun with all the events that have occurred so far in the World Cup.  What do I mean by that? Live Breathe Futbol will be giving away ONE t-shirt to ONE lucky winner of our World Cup contest.  All you have to do is submit (via comments on this post) a 2-4 line "freestyle" rap talking about an event(s) that took place during this historic World Cup in South Africa! Keep it clean and let's have some fun with it! Be Creative!

Contest Rules:

-  Each person MUST submit a comment via a profile that is linked to a valid e-mail address. That way if you win, we can get in touch with you.

- An anonymous entry, no matter how awesome it is, cannot win because we can't give the prize to thin air.

- Each person is limited to 10 entries.  So post your 10 best raps.

- The contest is open from 6pm EST July 7th 2010 and closes at 4pm EST July 11th 2010.

- The winner will be announced at 5pm July 12th 2010.

What is the prize you ask?

Here it is!

Good luck to all! Break a leg!

The greatest game must be the Oranje vs. Brazil,
the game tied up and little time to kill.
With a beautiful flick from Robben to Sneijder,
the header went in and set the world on fire.

the world cup was full of color
especially that game between algeria and usa
it was so intense we had to hold on to our mother
i brazill 2014 we wil be screaming usa! usa! usa!

  6. in the world cup there were surprises
    now the tension rises
the two best teams prepare for war
an epic battle with a worldwide uproar

Two years in a row, Ghana eliminated the USA
Which caused Americans to pout for days
But don't be sad, just be prepared to say...
In 2014, we'll be shouting, Ole!

The Red, White, and Blue finally managed to make it through,
the round of 16, an accomplishment, but what we thought we could do
was make it to the semifinals, a disappointment by itself?
How can this country not have more football wealth?

Octopus Paul showed the world his skill
So in Germany he is bound to get killed
They'll ship him to Spain before the Germans give him rubella
If the Spaniards don't win they'll surely make him paella

  10. Courtney says:

    All hail the Beautiful Game
90 minutes to infamy or fame
Determination, Grit, blood, sweat, and tears
A battle that comes just once every 4 years

  11. Unknown says:

Another shot for Ronaldo celebrating by TGE bar
but for the time being just enjoy life
    and keep throwing them shots
new strikers will be coming for the number one spot
